Collective contemporary Exhibition 2013
An Egyptian contemporary art exhibition. The young Egyptian artists are eager to try all the prevailing modern techniques to address changing patterns in the traditional culture values, social practice, life-styles, economic and political dispensations as well as issues pertaining to the environment and globalizations in an artistic language, which is both contemporaneous and modern. They are young and they consciously seek to establish a dialogue with the contemporary world. They see themselves as communicative artists who are also a part of the international art scene. Around fifty Egyptian contemporary artworks will be selected. Following artists will participate: Aya Tarek, Hany Rashed, Hend Samir, Khaled Hafez, Mohamed Habla, Mohamed Gaber, Shayma Kamel, Ammar Abo Bakr, Heba Hafez, Deena Fadel, Ali Achour and Mohamed Fahmy Ganzeer.

Lanes Of Sawa 2015
سوا هي أحد البرامج المجتمعية المستقلة والأكثر نجاحا في القاهرة حيث يأتي المشاركون من خلفيات اجتماعية وثقافية متعددة. بالإضافة إلى دورها المجتمعي، أصبحت سوا منصة لتيسير وتقديم الدعم التقني للفنانين - المحترفين منهم والناشئين - كما ساهمت في توفير مساحة عرض لأعمالهم الفنية.
من خلال ورش التصوير الفوتوغرافي، تصميم الأزياء، الرسم، التنسيق الفني، يصل البرنامج إلى آلاف الأفراد، وتقام المعارض الخاصة بسوا في مختلف أنحاء العالم.
هذا المعرض هو جزء من قصة سوا. بعض الفنانين المشاركين اليوم كانوا ذات يوم مدربين أو ملتحقين بورش سوا، وأغلب الأعمال الفنية المعروضة هي لفنانين محترفين يشاركون في معارض فردية، وتمكنوا من صنع أسماء بارزة لأنفسهم عند جامعي الأعمال الفنية، ولفنانين ناشئين مازالوا في بداية الطريق ولكن أعمالهم واعدة ويسهل التعرف عليها.
حظي هؤلاء الفنانون بدعم سوا والان يقدمون لها الدعم عن طريق عرض أعمالهم في هذه المساحة دعما لإستمرارية سوا وإكمالا لمسيرتها في تبني المواهب الناشئة.

One of the most successful independent community-based programs in Cairo, SAWA encompasses participants and audiences from various cultural and socioeconomic contexts. Moving beyond its original purpose of outreach, SAWA has become a platform for facilitation, offering technical artistic support to both novices and professionals, and providing an outlet for emerging and established artists to sell their work.
Through workshops on photography, fashion design, drawing and painting and curating, the program reaches over a thousand individuals a year from various comminutes, with SAWA now holding its own exhibitions internationally.
This exhibition is a part of SAWA’s story. Some of the artists exhibited today have either been SAWA workshop participants or instructors, or both. Most of the works are by established artists who regularly hold solo shows and have become notable names among collectors; others are emerging and their work is fast becoming recognizable within a rich and bustling art scene. These are artists who both support and are supported by SAWA. By exhibiting in this gallery space, they act as a funding mechanism that assists the sustainability of SAWA, so it can continue its role of uncovering and fostering talent.
